D2d Publication: Financial Management of large, multi-center trials
Randomized clinical trials that have public health implications but no or low potential for commercial gain are predominantly funded by governmental (e.g., National Institutes of Health (NIH)) and not-for-profit organizations. Judicious management of research studies’ budgets in a milieu of declining public research funds is critical.
The manuscript Financial management of large, multi-center trials in a challenging funding milieu presents the hybrid financial management model that the D2d Coordinating Center developed to effectively and judiciously manage the study’s budget without compromising the trial’s scientific integrity.
The manuscript is published in Trials.
