We have in the past couple of weeks released through our Department of Public Affairs an article about the D2d study. The article appears in the Texas Medical Center (TMC) News. As part of the Texas Medical Center-Baylor College of Medicine is within the largest medical center in the world. The center contains 50 medicine related institutions, including 15 hospitals and two medical schools. The TMC newspaper is a free publication distributed throughout the center in hospitals, stores, restaurants, medical schools, cafeterias, and all parking garages within the medical center.
An article about a research study tends to provide information with a softer tone than the hard hitting study advertisement which only lists the inclusion/exclusion criteria. Prospective study participants tend to take notice when information and analysis is provided by the PI.
